Life’s a Parade
Psalm 51:10-12 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit. (NRSV)
The hardest thing in the world to do is to admit that we’re wrong. You know the drill. You carry on in a certain way and the further down the path you get, even though you know you’re headed in the wrong direction, the harder it is to turn it around.
Have you ever been to a parade? The soldiers all march in the same direction and in step with one another – left, right, left, right – otherwise the whole thing becomes a shambles.
I remember as a young Army officer, we were big into parades. And to make sure that we all marched in step, we had a band. And what would a band be without a drum. Boom, boom, boom – 116 beats to the minute. Boom. We marched to the beat of the drum.
What about your life? What about the world’s parade? What beat, what drum, are you marching to through this great parade that we call ‘life’?
So many people aren’t even aware that they are marching to the beat of some drum somewhere – yet they have this nagging sense that something’s not quite right. It’s not really working. It’s not satisfying.
Boom. Boom. Boom … they just keep marching on, and in the end they discover that they’ve ended up the wrong place.
If there’s some part of your life where you know that you’re headed in the wrong direction, then today is the day to turn it round.
This is how King David turned his life around after committing murder and adultery. He prayed:
Psalm 51:10-12 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit. (NRSV)
Turn it round. Today.
That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

It also works on the flip side to, when being forced into a cramped life position and not able to flourish or grow because the person that committed a crime against you, is walking free and fooling the world with his not guilty verdict and meanwhile still invoking all kinds of distress on his victim that he cleverly disguised as being not real and never took place and casting the whole crime that he committed back into his victim with insidious false claims .
It is demoralising and it is torture living under the spell of a evil brute attack and not being believed or able to deal with the cruelty because the world believes that he is not guilty and you are a something that you’re not.
life is difficult and everybody has their own truth and story to tell.
stop lying to oneself and pretending that it’s ok, when it’s not ok at all.
Stop allowing that criminal brute to continue taking your life away through his families missions and schemes and give it to God.’
God will come through for telling the truth on the oath and being denied any protection or justice from your attacker is very difficult and it is.
God will give you a life that no man or woman with any title or reputation can take away , steal or demote .
Eventually God will show them all what you’re made of because you alone took up faith when no friend or family or anybody else from any department or domain could or would do anything to help.
The truth will always prevail in the end and Jesus Christ is an example of that for he did not give in or give up and look he is the savior of the world .
Believing in God is one thing and discovering Jesus is the key and receiving Him and His Holy Spirit for God is 3 in 1 and we need Jesus so that our connection to God has an intercessor a medium and Man Christ Jesus is the only true medium between us and God.
Hallelujah.
