My Life for Jesus

Romans 10:13 Yes, "everyone who trusts in the Lord God will be saved."

I have no idea where you’re at spiritually, in your relationship with Jesus. But wherever you are, this next few minutes could be the most important few minutes of your life.

Perhaps you’ve been wanting to give your life over to Jesus, but somehow, it’s never quite been the right time. Or perhaps you’ve drifted off in the wrong direction and God seems a million miles away.

Today is the day to invite Jesus into your life. So please, pray this prayer with me right now:

Father God, I have heard about Jesus Your Son, how you sent Him to die to pay for all that I’ve done wrong – my sin. And how He died and suffered and rose again. Today I put my trust in Jesus. I believe He came for me and I give my life over to You.

All that I am, all that I have, all my hopes and dreams I give to You.

I’m sorry for all that I’ve done wrong. I turn away from that now to serve and to honour you. From today on, I want to follow Jesus. Please take me just as I am. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer, then your life eternal has just begun. How do I know that? Well, here it is:

Romans 10:13 Yes, “everyone who trusts in the Lord God will be saved.”

Listen to me. A relationship with Jesus is a relationship of trust. It’s not just a simple one-off prayer – it can start that way, for sure. But now, for the rest of your life, it’s a life of radical change. It’s a life of trust. It’s a life of following Jesus, wherever He may lead, whatever it may cost.

Everyone who trusts in the Lord God will be saved

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
