He is Coming Back for You
John 14:1-3 Jesus said, “Don’t be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back. Then I will take you with me, so that you can be where I am.
The fear of dying is something that crops up every now and then for everyone. Something happens to jolt your memory to make you think about your mortality. How many birthdays, how many Christmases do you have left? Hmm?
One day you and I will breathe our last breath on the earth, one way or another. That can be a scary thought, the older you get and the more you feel your body ageing. But here’s the exciting news. If you believe in Jesus, if you’ve been living your life for Him the best way you know how, then He has a promise that removes the fear of death. Are you ready to receive that promise into your heart today?

All along, through all the ups and downs, all the twists and turns, all the things that just never made sense, Jesus has been preparing a place for you in His Father’s house, so that you can spend eternity with Him.
Whatever happens to be going on in your life, let that sink in for a moment; eternity with Jesus, in His Father’s house.
So, whatever this life throws at you between now and that last breath … what’s waiting for you is an eternity with Jesus, in His Father’s house. That’s His promise. Rock solid.
That puts a whole new spin on things, doesn’t it?
