It is Time

Romans 10:9,10 If you openly say, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from death, you will be saved. Yes, we believe in Jesus deep in our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we openly say that we believe in him, and so we are saved.

Jesus … it’s a name that means many things to many people. But let’s get one thing straight. It’s only when you put your trust in Jesus, as you accept the forgiveness and the new life that you have through what He did for you on that Cross, that you’ll receive the free gift of eternal life.

Have you ever wanted to give your life to Jesus but never quite got around to it? Or perhaps you’ve drifted off, and that relationship you once had with Him seems a dim, distant memory.

Well, maybe it’s time right now to give your life to Jesus. So why don’t you pray this prayer with me right now, because one day – who knows when – it’ll be too late:

Father God, I believe that you sent your Son Jesus Christ to die, to pay for all my mistakes and failures. I believe He rose again and that through Him I can have eternal life.

I’m sorry for those mistakes, and I want to turn away from them right here and now, and put my faith in Jesus as my Saviour. God, I give you my life – everything I am, everything I have, every hope and every dream I give to you.

I want a new life – please send your Spirit to live in me – and lead me forward to live the life that you always intended.

Father, I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

If you just prayed that with me from your heart in faith, then you have just received the greatest gift of all. Eternity with Jesus.

Romans 10:9,10 If you openly say, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from death, you will be saved. Yes, we believe in Jesus deep in our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we openly say that we believe in him, and so we are saved.

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
