The Power of Beauty

1 Peter 3:1-4 In the same way, you wives should be willing to serve your husbands. Then, even those who have refused to accept God's teaching will be persuaded to believe because of the way you live. You will not need to say anything. Your husbands will see the pure lives that you live with respect for God. It is not fancy hair, gold jewellery, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful. No, your beauty should come from inside you-the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. That beauty will never disappear. It is worth very much to God.

Wives often get quite a raw deal out of marriage. Especially, let me say, when they’re married to a man who simply doesn’t honour God.

Many a woman is stuck with an ungodly husband and that’s not easy. So, in tried and true fashion, she henpecks him, chipping away in the vain hope that he’ll change. It’s the only way she knows. But let me share this with you: henpecking your husband is never, ever going to work. In fact, it’ll just make him dig his heels in deeper. So what a wife needs, in this difficult situation, is something that actually works.

Listen up, wives. Your inner beauty and your gentleness have such incredible power over your husband. A power that you may not ever have thought about. But trust me on this – your beauty has a power over your husband, greater than you can begin to imagine.

The Bible talks about the lasting beauty of a woman’s gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight. When you start shining your precious beauty into your husband’s heart – it’ll open him up, it’ll change him forever.

Your inner beauty is his power to change.

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

Good day!

I would like to thank you with all my heart for this message. This is what I need right now. I can literally hear God speaking to me through you, Mr. Dymet. I already know this. I have been praying for a humble, gentle, quiet and patient spirit for quite sometime now.. But to hear this message particularly now and being explained the way you did, touched my soul. Thank you!
I’m always praying for you and all the staff of Christianityworks. May the Lord expand your borders and bless you and your families.
