At Some Point …

3 John 1:2-4 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

When I turned 50, I decided that if I didn’t do something about my weight, my fatty liver, my high blood sugar and high blood pressure, it was going to kill me, just as it had killed my father.

We don’t like to think about these things all too much, but at some point –  unless you already happen to be one of the very small healthy minority –  you need to decide to do something about your weight, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

Having struggled with obesity most of my life, I can tell you that the hardest thing was deciding actually to do something about it. And the second hardest thing was getting the true facts – discovering what I should do this time that was different to all the other times.

And oddly, the easiest bit – once I was in possession of the facts – was actually doing it. The key, as with all things, is in laying hold of the truth.

Big Food and Big Pharma have powerful, multi-trillion dollar commercial interests in muddying the waters here. They’ve tried to crush independent scientists like Prof Tim Noakes … and yet, the truth is out.

You can do something about your health. It’s actually not that hard. These days I eat like a king, I eat to satiety, but I’m a healthy weight.

You can watch my TV interview with Prof Noakes at 25kgs.com.

The truth – it’s a complete gamechanger.

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
