Born Again

1 Peter 1:23 You have been born again. This new life did not come from something that dies. It came from something that cannot die. You were born again through God’s life-giving message that lasts forever.

If you call yourself a Christian, might I ask you … are you truly a Christian? Not by your own definition, but according to what the Word of God says. Are you “born again” … or not? The answer matters a lot!

I was in a car with some people recently and their talk turned to what it means to be a Christian. Now, they weren’t believers so I listened with great interest. Then they asked me to tell them what I thought it meant. So I started sharing, and one of them interjected with a note somewhere between disdain and horror in her voice.

“Oh, I hope you’re not one of those born again Christians!” I smiled, because a few years earlier I’d have said the very same thing. She was a little taken a back, I think, when I replied, “Well actually, that’s the only sort Christian there is.”

1 Peter 1:23 You have been born again. This new life did not come from something that dies. It came from something that cannot die. You were born again through God’s life-giving message that lasts forever.

Becoming a Christian isn’t about cleaning up your act and then hoping that God will accept you. It’s completely the opposite. It’s not something you work your way into – it’s something that’s given to you through God’s life-giving message; a message that lasts for ever.

And when we believe with everything that we are, with everything that we have, with every hope and every dream, that Jesus Christ died for us, when we enter into a relationship with a God who loves us so much that it just blows the mind, when we give ourselves over to that God, it’s like a completely new beginning.

That’s what it means to be “born again”. And it’s the only sort of Christian there is.

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

God is trustworthy and will never betray you and he cares, he cares so much that you can talk to him all day long about everything and he won’t ever stop listening nor will he fob you off.
God is consistent and God is almighty.
Through every stage and every trial and every test and all the friends that have come and gone and all that has been its God who is my MIRACLE., oops Im being a bit selfish there because is not just mine but he is yours and theirs and he is everything and he created all things.
God is omnipresent and he is with everyone simultaneously all the time .
If you wake up with a concern, you can get out of bed and on bended knees, kneel before God and pray and God is there.’
Rest in Gods yoke of peace and joy and abundance and read His word .
Oh I love Jesus so so much and each morning I take our family dog who’s name is Jessie and she is about 8 years old and we rescued her because her carers passed away.
May I ask that you pray for Jessie please because this morning as I was jogging with her, she stopped me and she vomited .. I think Jessie might be too old for jogging with me , perhaps .
But I love mornings and I love my time with God and Jessie and I love being in Jesus presence as we walk and jog along into the morning sunrise .
Jesus is life oh life is love and love is sacrifice and Jesus love for us he demonstrated when we gave his life and died a criminals death to secure this blessing for us.

John 4:23-24
But the time is coming – indeed it’s here now- when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way . 24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.
