Don’t Delay!
Romans 5:8 But Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and by this God showed how much he loves us.
Have you ever felt that you’re just not good enough to go to God – as though your sins are too many, your failures too deep, your prayers too shallow? We all have those moments – shame whispering that we’re unworthy even to lift our eyes toward heaven.
Charles Spurgeon once said of God that: “He knows your case as thoroughly as if you were the only creature He ever made, or the only saint He ever loved. Approach Him and be at peace.”
And isn’t that the truth? God knows your past, your flaws, your struggles – every detail. Yet still, His love is undivided, unshaken and unrelenting. You’re not one among billions, lost in the crowd. To Him, you are seen. You are known. You are loved.
The Apostle Paul put it this way:
Romans 5:8 But Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and by this God showed how much he loves us.
Did you notice that? While we were still sinners. Not after we cleaned ourselves up. Not once we were good enough. While we were still a mess, Christ went to the Cross – for me and for you.
So let me challenge you. Stop waiting until you feel worthy. Stop thinking you need to earn your way back into His presence. Come as you are – broken, bruised, guilty. Come to Him through Jesus, right now.
Because the moment you do, you’ll find what Charles Spurgeon found. A God who knows you completely. Who loves you perfectly. Who invites you to be at peace in His presence.
So … what are you waiting for? Approach Him. Today.
That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
