A Hell of a Long Ride

Revelation 20:15 And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

It’s not always a popular thing to talk about, but there is a heaven and there is a hell. Jesus made that very clear. And there’s only one thing – one thing and one thing alone – that will get you into heaven.

When you die, what sort of funeral do you want to have? In particular, have you decided on a hearse yet?

I was driving down a motorway in Britain a while back, and way off in the distance I saw  a black motorcycle with what looked like an odd shaped sidecar. The closer we came the stranger it looked, until all of a sudden I realised that it was a motorcycle hearse.

Remember you heard it here first! You can go and check them out online at motorcycle funerals.com. To tell you the truth though, it’s not the funeral that’s important but where you’re headed afterwards. Well, – where are you headed?

There are two basic options: There’s the Jesus plan. Believe in Him now, spend eternity with Him then: And any other plan that any salesman tries to sell you, everyone ends up in the same place and it’s not pretty. I want to challenge you today with the powerful truth that eternity awaits and there are only two options. For those who genuinely trust in Jesus, they will spend eternity in heaven with Him.

And for those who don’t … well, I’ll let God tell you rather than me:

Revelation 20:15 And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Without doubt, that’s an unpopular take on eternity. It’s just that … well, it happens to be true. Those who don’t have a relationship with Jesus will spend eternity in hell – and that … that’s a hell of a long ride.

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

Dear Berni,
What’s the point of not believing? Why take that chance because if we don’t believe while we’re here on earth, that Jesus Christ is The Son of God. Will we have an opportunity tomorrow ? Amen
Thanks Henry.
