Think Big
Romans 1:20 There are things about God that people cannot see – his eternal power and all that makes him God. But since the beginning of the world, those things have been easy for people to understand. They are made clear in what God has made. So people have no excuse for the evil they do.
We spend so much time focused on our worries, our work, the things pressing in right now. And while they feel big in the moment, they’re minuscule in the vastness of God’s story.
In 1903, Eugene Aldrin, the father of astronaut Buzz Aldrin, witnessed the Wright brothers’ first powered flight as a young man. Decades later, he watched his own son walk on the moon. Extraordinary!
One lifetime spanned humanity’s greatest leaps in aviation: from fragile wings over sand dunes to footsteps on lunar soil. And yet, as momentous as those achievements were, compared to the creation of the universe, they’re barely two drops in the ocean.

The universe stretches beyond our imagining – galaxies, stars, light-years that we can’t even measure. And every part of it declares His majesty.
So why do we so often obsess over the here and now? Why shrink our gaze to the urgent when the eternal is blazing above us? Even the moon landing is nothing next to the glory of the One who hung the moon in its place.
And here’s the challenge. Lift your eyes. Look beyond the trivial. Fix your gaze not just on earthly things, but on Christ who rules above all. Because when you do, your troubles shrink, your hope grows, your heart worships.
The heavens are declaring His glory. Will you?
